Get back in line....

I've decided.
I'll try something new.
I mean, something extra on the side.
Just to keep the momentum going.

One month hiatus is just too long.
No one benefits from it.
I need to start writing again.

So, my two cents worth will be one of the many changes I'm making.
Be it movies, music, books...anything.
And as u can see, I'm now using my real name.
No more nicknames. Not that I hate it.
Just something new. It's still me, so no big deal right?


So, as the header suggest, bear with me aite...? :-)

It's been a while since I wrote something. Whether it's on a piece a piece of paper or here in my blog, I've been procrastinating in my writing habits. It's been so long, that I just dont want to even give a title to this entry, because I just want to write without overthinking. A title? That's the least of my worries.

I don't know why I havent been writing for a while. Maybe it's the daily workload, or the internet connection or just plain laziness. I can't tell you exactly why, because the fact of the matter is, don't know why either.

But, come to think of it, maybe complacency has crept up in me. Maybe I felt too comfortable with everything, that I thought one or two weeks of no writing sessions is not a big deal. Complacency does that to you sometime. You become so engulfed in your present state or situation, that you just don' t focus enough on the little things that matters.

I just need to get my shit back together. Then, I'll be fine.

That most of my latest entries before this were completely bonkers.

Maybe it was just a phase.

You know, that experimenting stage bulls*#t.

But, dont worry.

That's in the past.

I won't be pulling that kind of stunt anymore.

That is not stupidity....

How many times in a day that we utter the words "stupid" or "bodoh" to people, some of which we dont even know...??

You see a guy speeding on the road....

"Bodoh..."

Then a guy shouts at the waiter rudely in your local eateries....

"Bodoh..."

A resident at your apartment building throws off a cigarette butt from the 3rd floor while you're down below....

"Bodoh..."

These words come out naturally.

But the truth is, people who we call "bodoh" is actually not "bodoh".

Most of them are actually well educated or in Malay we call "berpelajaran tinggi".

They drive around in big cars. They wear fancy clothes. Hell, they look good too.

Like it or not, they are not stupid. Stupidity is not the issue here.

And it's just not right to say or call people "stupid". That's just mean.

But, the problem is just one thing.

It's plain old ignorance.

It's not the same as stupid.

In Malay, we call it "BUAT bodoh".

See, it's different.

There's a saying, "Ignorance is bliss."

But, as Zack de la Rocha once said, "If ignorance is bliss, then knock the smile off my face."

As you can see, this is my second try in this blog thing. I have another blog before this, but it doesn't seem to work for me.

For me, writing (or typing) a journal, a blog or whatever the heck you call it, it needs something to stimulate the senses of the writer. I mean, there's no use of having a journal or blog if you just stare at it everyday, without ever touching the keyboard to type something....right??

I'm kind of learning a lot of new stuff about this whole blog thing. Hopefully, it'll be better than my last blog.

Hopefully.

At least, I'm starting to have hopes again.
